Since the “ blur “legalconcerning the sale of cannabis was discovered, several coffee shops were opened in France. They sell cannabis derivatives with a THC (the psychoactive molecule of cannabis) level of less than 0.2% in the form of syrups, oils, vaping liquids, sweets, infusions …. Agnès Buzyn, the Minister of Health, had expressed on this fact and wanted to review this “legal gray area” in the law so that these establishments close.
They risk reorganization
We did not have to wait too long before seeing actions on the part of the government since an investigation concerning one of the two Parisian coffee shops had been opened by the Paris prosecutor’s office on June 11 in order to verify that the shop complied with well the legislation. This Wednesday, June 27, the two establishments were searched by the narcotics squad and three people were taken into police custody.
Investigators took samples and interviewed clients. If the analyzes reveal the illegality of the products, that is to say a THC rate greater than 0.2%, the two shops risk closure as well as legal redress.
