Vascular algia of the face, childbirth, pancreatitis: here are the three worst pain, according to a new study which establishes a classification of the worst ills.

Capphalés in cluster, also called vascular algia of the face, cause the most intense pain that exists, according to a classification established by researchers, whose work has been published in the journal Headache. In this study, they asked 1,604 patients with the vascular algia of the face to compare this pain to others, noting them out of 10.
Childbirth in second position
9.7 out of 10 is the note awarded to the vascular algia of the face. These are very violent headache which are characterized by extreme pain, on one side, at the forehead, eye or temple. Patients who suffer from it have crises – lasting fifteen minutes to three hours – one to eight times a day. According to Health insurancethis disease is infrequent and affects men more than women.
The second most intense pain is childbirth, with a note of 7.2/10, followed by pancreatitis, in third position, with a score of 7. This sudden inflammation of the pancreas causes high abdominal pain. According to the MSD manualpancreatitis is generally due to gallstones or significant consumption of alcohol.
Then come the kidney (6.9) and biliary (6.3), fourth and fifth positions. Among the patients, some were shot in shot … For those who lived this experience, they consider an average of the pain at 6 out of 10, which places it in fifth position.
The pain of a discs, stronger than that of a heart attack
With 5.9 out of 10, the hernia disc is the sixth most intense pain. It usually affects the lower back, legs, arms and/or shoulders. Next come the migraine crisis (5.4/10) and fibromyalgia (5.2/10). In France, it is estimated that 1.5 to 2 % of the population would suffer from this chronic condition, according to theHealth insurance. This is characterized by persistent diffuse pain.
Ex-aequo with fibromyalgia, the bone fracture also occupies eighth position. The rest of the classification is as follows: heart attack (5/10), sciatica (5/10), stabb wound (4.9/10), zona (4.6/10), lumbar puncture (4.6 /10), biopsy of a large organ (4.4/10) and finally arthritis (4/10).
The researchers indicate a limit to their study: the notes remain subjective and conditioned to the good memory of the participants who, over time, can minimize or exaggerate certain memories.
