Your experience in the ZBC
Did you get a new hip in an independent treatment center/clinic? Or cataract surgery? Or another treatment? The editors are looking for people who want to give a short interview to Plus Magazine about this. Read more below.
An independent treatment center, or independent clinic, is a hospital where two or more medical specialists work, this is how the Dutch Patients’ Federation explains. They have been around in the Netherlands for about twenty years now. Examples of independent treatment centers are the Bergman Clinics, the Alexander Monroe Hospital or DC Clinics. You can usually only go there for a specific specialty or condition, such as plastic surgery, ophthalmology, orthopedics or cardiology. ZBCs treat 14 percent of patients who receive specialist medical care.
We already wrote an article about it in Plus Magazine in 2016 https://www.plusonline.nl/special-articles/een-vip-treatment-voor-iedereen It is now time for an update. We are therefore looking for people who want to tell us about their experience.
call
We are looking for people who want to give a short telephone interview about their experience in the ZBC. We are looking for someone with a mainly positive experience and someone with a mainly negative experience. You will appear in Plus Magazine with your name and surname, along with a photo of our photographer.
Are you in doubt whether the clinic was a ZBC? You can look up the ZBCs that are affiliated with the national network of Independent Clinics in the Netherlands here: https://www.zkn.nl/aanclosed-klinieken
– Write your experience briefly in an email (a few paragraphs) and send your response before April 4 to health@plusmagazine.nl, stating ‘ZBC’
– Provide your full name, age, address, email and phone number.
– Also send your own photo, a snapshot with the smartphone is fine. That is useful for the photographer.
We read all responses carefully and will contact you if your response is chosen for an interview. A photographer will then come by for a beautiful portrait.
