Most people are very satisfied with their physiotherapist’s treatment, according to a report by the Dutch Patient Federation. What about you? We are looking for two people who want to talk about the treatment with their physiotherapist. We look for positive experiences, but also negative ones.
It can be difficult to find a good physiotherapist. There is more and more to choose from, such as specialized physiotherapists, group therapy or therapy via the computer. The latest monitor of the Dutch Patient Federation shows that people still receive too little information about the quality and expertise of a physiotherapist.
We will try to answer this in Plus Magazine, with a practical article. In this article, we would also like to speak with two people who have seen a physical therapist in the past two years. We are looking for someone who is very happy with the treatment. Someone who really got less pain from massage or exercises, or more breathing space from a good lung physiotherapist. But we are also looking for someone who is just not satisfied. For example, because it was not possible to do the exercises at home. Or someone who had to stop the treatment because the costs were too high. Or because the treatment seemed to have no effect.
