The sportswomen will have to travel 6 km through the streets of Paris, from the Pont d’Iéna to the Place Joffre where they will join the Champ de Mars. A village will celebrate Brazil during the 14th edition of this popular event.
Sunday, September 12, the sports for a day will never have been so numerous to participate in La Parisienne. 22,000 participants have pledged to travel 6 km from Pont d’Iéna to Place Joffre in Paris.
The party will begin on September 10 with the installation of a village near the Eiffel Tower where future competitors can meet or have a picnic the next day. The one euro-one ribbon and one euro-one minute operations will be renewed in order to support research against breast cancer.
This 2010 opus will be placed under the yellow and green colors of Brazil. On this occasion, demonstrations as well as initiations of capoeira, samba, makulele will be offered to visitors. The organizers hope to raise 90,000 euros to donate to the Foundation for Medical Research.
