Physiotherapist Valérie Montaillier warns about cervical blockages which, according to her, systematically affect her patients suffering from brain cancer.
- Physiotherapist Valérie Montaillier has issued a health alert to share her recent observations on people with brain cancer.
- “I have so far followed up with around thirty patients suffering from brain cancer, and all of them suffer from significant cervical stiffness which prevents them from laying one of their cheeks flat when lying on their stomach,” she says.
- “These observations would merit a detailed analysis with square and clean tests,” believes cancer specialist Laurent Schwartz.
At a press conference on brain cancer, doctors present listed the various symptoms of the disease.
On this occasion, physiotherapist Valérie Montaillier spoke to draw attention to her observations concerning blockages in the cervical region. To date, I have followed around thirty patients with brain cancer in consultation, and all of them suffer from significant cervical stiffness preventing them from laying one of their two cheeks flat when lying on their stomach. In the vast majority of cases, patients have a blockage on the same side as their tumor, even if some are sometimes stiff on both sides of the neck. These symptoms are not necessarily painful in everyday life, which is very surprising,” explains the professional masseuse, who filed a health alert on the Ministry of Health website in 2021.
“Several patients treated for contractures have seen their tumors disappear”
“We are of course only at the hypothesis stage, but I have also noted that several patients treated for their cervical contractures and stiffness have seen their brain tumors disappear,” she continues. “For example, I treated a man with several left brain tumors for left cervical contractures in two consultations. He had been receiving chemotherapy for 4 years without any significant results, but he had decided to stop his treatment and had just noticed a worsening of his brain MRI before coming to see me. Two months after our consultations, his oncologist described him as a “miracle”. All his tumors had disappeared and his brain, initially tilted to the left, became straight again some time later,” she says.
Brain cancer: “I have not found any department heads who are interested in my observations and hypotheses”
While she has filed an application (still in progress) to obtain official whistleblower status and a US patent on the muscular/vascular relationship, Valérie Montaillier is struggling to make herself heard.I wrote to all the MPs who were doctors, but never got a response. So I made a request for a commission of inquiry by writing to the President of the Senate and the President of the National Assembly, but they did not follow up. I even alerted the General Directorate of Health,” she regrets. “I also haven’t found any heads of cancer departments who are interested in my idea. Only the neurosurgery team at Beaujon Hospital was contacted following the surprising results of one of their patients condemned by an inoperable glioblastoma that had disappeared, but they want me to demonstrate the increase in life expectancy of my patients before officially launching a scientific study,” she says.
“Many cancer specialists have lost their critical thinking”
“I was also received at INCawhere they explained to me that my wish to do a study on the links between cervical blockages and brain cancer would necessarily be refused, because according to them it gives too much false hope to patients and because I am not a doctor”, deplores Valérie Montaillier.
“I was even threatened with suspension by the disciplinary chamber of the Council of the Order of Physiotherapists. I am accused of using a method on cancer patients that has not been scientifically proven, even though I only see patients on prescription for very real neck pain,” she adds.
Why such reactions? “I think the idea that simple neck contractures can contribute to cancer pathology is disturbing, probably because it seems crazy or too simplistic,” Valérie Montaillier analyzes.
“I also think that many cancer specialists are formatted and have lost their critical thinking. Perhaps some are also bribed by the pharmaceutical laboratories that produce chemotherapies… Or is it just a simple question of ego?” she asks herself.
“Based on my professional experience, I think in any case that it is essential to take an interest in the cervical vertebrae of patients as soon as brain cancer is diagnosed.”she concludes.
“The world of cancer is changing, and not just in large institutions”
“What Valérie Montaillier probably does with her massages is drain, which tends to reduce pressure, slow tumor growth and reduce its hardness,” explains cancer specialist Laurent Schwartz (ex-APHP), author of “The keys to cancer” (Thierry Souccar Ed.) and responsible for‘a presentation on cancerous fermentation’ recently organized in the Senate on March 8, 2024. “His theory is certainly promising, possibly correct and above all safe. So it would deserve a fine analysis with square and clean tests”he adds.
“Unfortunately, as Valérie Montaillier is a physiotherapist and not a cancer specialist, she is not able to lead them,” he continues. “And if his theory does not emerge, it is because all these original therapies do not have industrial support. Everyone says they want to do translational research and move forward, but in practice, it is blocked everywhere,” he describes.
“The world of cancer is changing, and not just in large institutions. Valérie Montaillier’s approach is part of the different therapies that are emerging here and there and which tend to demonstrate that cancer is probably a simple metabolic disease,” he declares. “For example, some brain cancer patients who switch to the ketogenic diet do not die. Gustave-Roussy has started to study this kind of problem, but it is progressing slowly,” he said.
Brain cancer: what are the symptoms?
In addition to this potential cervical blockage, brain cancer can cause other physical manifestations. “When the tumor is small, it usually doesn’t cause any problems. But the bigger it gets, the more symptoms can occur,” noted ARC Foundation.
“Headache is the most common symptom, regardless of the type of brain tumor. It often occurs in the morning, sometimes accompanied by nausea, vomiting and loss of consciousness.”completes the institution.
The patient may also experience seizures, speech, vision and hearing disorders, dizziness, balance disorders, memory problems, learning disturbances, changes in usual behavior and partial paralysis.
