Others have appealed for blood donations to help the victims. Starting from a good intention, these are however not necessary. In charge of this harvest, the French Blood Establishment (EFS) has also clarified this Friday.
Needs are covered
In a tweet posted this morning, he wrote: “Blood product requirements are met. We invite you to mobilize in the long term. No appeal for donation from the EFS ”. Contacted by Why actor, Elise Saada, in charge of communication at the EFS, specifies: “I repeat. There are no worries about the blood reserve levels. They are sufficient. During the night of last night, they met all the needs of the victims ”.
And the EFS to launch a last appeal: “Same thing for today. There are no special needs either. Neither in Nice, nor in its region. The regulation of stocks is carried out at the national level and is considered satisfactory in Nice. Above all, do not come en masse to our structures. The influx of people risks overcrowding our premises and disrupting the work of our teams, ”concludes Elise Saada. Donors will however be welcome in a few days.

The Minister of Health, Marisol Touraine, greeted this Friday, a few hours after the murderous attack committed in Nice, “the extraordinary reactivity” of the health professionals mobilized since the attack. She thus underlined “the work of the medical teams of the hospitals to save and try to save lives”.
