When the RS4 gives voice!
To make itself heard as it passes, the Audi RS4 avant will inaugurate, at this level of the range, an RS Plus sports exhaust line, which saves 8 kg on the scale. It is accompanied by new sound insulation between the engine compartment and the passenger compartment. The Audi RS4 Avant competition pack will also have a new optional piloted air suspension, called RS Sport Suspension Pro. It will offer the driver a manual adjustment allowing him to choose between comfort or performance typing for maximum versatility. When it leaves the factory, an Audi RS4 Avant competition pack will be 10mm lower to the ground than a standard version.
And it will also be possible at any time for the customer to lower the car by an additional 10 mm. In addition, the shock absorbers will have a higher setting and 3-position adjustment, while with this competition pack, the maximum speed of the car is now 290 km/h and no longer 250 km/h. as for a “simple” RS4 Avant. In addition to the increased top speed, the accelerations will be a bit more lively with a 0 to 100 km / h dispatched in 3.9 seconds (compared to 4.1 s for the basic RS4). The twin-turbo V6 engine still develops a power of 450 hp for a torque value of 600 Nm available between 1,900 and 5,000 rpm and is automatically associated with the quattro all-wheel drive. Its rival, the BMW M3 Touring in Competition version should claim 510 hp, power that the RS4 will be able to offer you after a visit to the ABT tuner.
