At the moment fake e-mails are being distributed on behalf of Rabobank stating that you need a new debit card to use the payment system ‘Instant Payments’. Don’t fall for this! The e-mails do not come from Rabobank, but from criminals.
What do you have to pay attention to?
The email comes from: Customer info [AT] rabobank.betaaldiensten.info. After clicking the link, you will be taken to a mock login page. Here you will then be asked for your personal information. After sending this data, it ends up with criminals who can access your payment account from that moment on. The forged link points to the banking page. The sender of the email, the URL and the login page look trustworthy, but they are not. Do not click on the link, delete the email from your inbox and also from your deleted items.
