Criminals are once again active on the net and try to appropriate your money via the payment service AfterPay. We recommend that you delete the fraudulent email immediately.
‘There is a message waiting for you about your AfterPay account. Log in to view the message. We request that you do this as soon as possible.’
This is what it says in the email, from the forged email norreply [A] afterpay-nederland.nl. You will be asked in the e-mail to log in via a link. A ‘url shorterner’ then takes you to a fake login page on the domain web3669.cweb02.gamingweb.de/#/my/orders. As you may have guessed from reading the URL: this is not the official domain of AfterPay.
This makes it very interesting for criminals to look around in your AfterPay account packed with valuable payment information. Therefore do not click on the links and do not log in. Deleting the email immediately is the safest choice.
