The drug Oracefal® 250 mg / 5 ml, powder for oral suspension is an antibiotic used mainly to treat respiratory tract infections and ENT infections in children. The drug is administered after reconstitution with water using a measuring spoon.
A few days ago, a mother reported to her pharmacist the presence of a piece of glass in a bottle of Oracefal® 250 mg / 5 ml, powder for oral suspension. The decision to recall this lot by the laboratory, in agreement with Afssaps, follows this report. After a visit to the hospital, the child was judged to be in good health and did not show any effects following the intake of the drug.
