Very high protection IP 99 = SPF 40 sunscreen from the company Bio Aromes is subject to withdrawal and suspension from the manufacture, packaging, distribution and marketing of the cosmetic product. The French Agency for the Sanitary Safety of Health Products (Afssaps) reveals in its press release of December 18, that the company Bio Aromes, after an inspection carried out on July 24, did not respond to its request for compliance.
Afssaps describes in particular an inaccurate qualitative and quantitative formula for the product, the absence of an evaluation of the safety for human health, or the absence of proof of the claimed effect on the labeling.
