As of tomorrow, vaccination will open to a new segment of the population, adolescents aged 12-17 years. The latter will be able to receive the one and only vaccine to have obtained the green light for use in minors, Pfizer-BioNtech. “This is another important step towards achieving collective immunity. […] From Tuesday, the French will be able to find slots available for their teenagers and will have the possibility, if they wish, to be vaccinated with their family. A consent to be taken with the parents

Only one exception applies and these are adolescents over 16 years of age suffering from comorbidities, the authorization of a single holder of parental authority is sufficient. Apart from this specificity, minors from 12 to 17 will have to justify the agreement of the two holders of parental authority and they can be accompanied by a single parent. Any declaration or information which turns out to be false subsequently will engage the responsibility of the parent present at the vaccination of his child.
