“To allow all French people to have access to the most reliable, the most objective and the most recent information on drugs: such is the great common project which unites us today. It is with these words that the Minister of Health Roselyne Bachelot opened her speech during the signing of the partnership agreement for the drug information portal.
Product different from others, the precautions surrounding it are numerous and the information must be clear. However, the sources of information, on the internet in particular, being so numerous, it is quite difficult to know what is officially validated.
Thanks to this portal, professionals as well as the general public can be redirected to the competent partner sites: the Ministry of Health, the French agency for the health safety of health products (Afssaps), the Haute Autorité de Santé (HAS) and the Health Insurance with the economic interest group, health product information systems (GIE SIPS).
