Arthur, living in Morbihan, has been disabled from birth. Oscar, living in Ile-de-France, suffers from neuropathy, a disease affecting the nerves in the limbs, which made him paraplegic. The two set themselves a challenge: to climb the roof of Africa, Kilimanjaro. This ascent of nearly 6,000 meters, will take place from October 15 to 25, aboard a joelette, a hiking chair for people with reduced mobility.
This feat had already been achieved in October 2017, by Yann Jondot, the mayor of Langoëlan (Morbihan), also disabled. Today, Arthur and Oscar are taking up the torch with the help of the association Pompier Raid Aventure. Across the world, these firefighters organize real adventures by taking disabled children with them. In total, the two teenagers will be accompanied by 18 firefighters.

Then, that of fighting for universal accessibility by asking for the withdrawal of article 18 of the ELAN Law, adopted by the Senate on July 25. Indeed, the latter raises the objective from 100% to 10% of accessible new housing. people with disabilities.
In order to finalize this project, a “Kili No Limit” pot has been opened on the platform Alvarum. Donations can also to be sent by mail to the association Pompiers Raid Aventure.
