Adam Curlykale, 32, is one of those lovers of tattoos who live their passion to the extreme. Nicknamed Mr Oreo by those who know him, the Russian now has 90% of his body marked in ink graphite. His favorite color is gray, justifies the person concerned.
This thirty-something decided to go “gray” from the toes to the whites of his eyes after surviving a Colon Cancer, diagnosed ten years later. He survived the disease but the heavy treatment left him depigment the skin. The man, with an indelible gray body only nuanced by a mustache and white eyebrows, sees in this total body tattoo a way of masking these physical consequences but also a personal accomplishment. “The tattoos allowed me to rediscover myself, he explains. I saw myself beautiful. Life is so short that I stopped wondering what tomorrow would bring.”
End-to-end artistic performance
In his die-hard moult, the “performer” had to sacrifice his genitals and his nipples. The ablation was necessary to achieve this uniform tattoo occupying the smallest part of his body. Adam Curlykale was able to count on the support of his friend Veronika, at his hospital bedside after the operation which took place in Mexico in the city of Guadalajara. The artist shared his experience in photos on his Instagram account, reassuring his 40,000 subscribers. “I just had a genital denial. I had a lot of bleeding but luckily no need for a transfusion. Veronica is with me and takes care of me,” he commented.
Remember that getting a tattoo is not a trivial act. Since a permanent tattoo is difficult to remove, it is necessary to be well informed about the procedure and hygiene measures. It is imperative to get tattooed by a professional.
