8 days ago, the food producer Lactalis announced the withdrawal of 600 lots of infant milk suspected of being contaminated with salmonella. This weekend, the industrialist recalled 5 other batches of infant milk manufactured at the Craon site, in Mayenne. These are Picot first age, second and third age milk powder.
At Lactalis, we explain this two-step withdrawal by a list error. “These 5 batches were notified to the State services, but subsequently omitted from the list of the ministerial decree which led to the recall. We do not know how or why, but they went through”.

Note that the dad who was planning to bring the case to justice did indeed file a complaint this Monday morning, at the health center of the Paris prosecutor’s office against Lactalis and its pharmacist. The complaint is filed for endangering the life of others and non-assistance to a person in danger.
