In France, each year, between 1,500 and 2,000 people die of the flu and 250,000 and 500,000 worldwide. A team of researchers from the US National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases published the results of a study in Science magazine showing progress in making a vaccine that could fight all forms of influenza. This new formulation made from a strain of 1999 has been tested on animals which have fought several forms of influenza.
