The “Team Seattle”, which includes the American actor Patrick Dempsey, known for his role in the series “Grey’s Anatomy”, has been involved for ten years in car races in the United States, such as the 24 hours of Daytona by example
During the 77th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, on June 13 and 14, Patrick Dempsey will sign autographs on the “Racing for children” stand, in the official Village, on Friday, before the drivers’ parade. On Saturday June 13, Elodie Gossuin will in turn sign autographs, accompanied by a child operated on in 2008 thanks to the association.
In addition to the Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiac association, the team also runs for a pediatric hospital in Seattle, the “Children’s Hospital”. The Ferrari GT 430 of “Team Seattle”, called “Racing for children”, will wear the colors of these two causes.
The double-winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1978 and 1980, Jean-Pierre Jaussaud, will also participate in two signing sessions, on Saturday 13 June and Sunday 14 June, from 10 to 11 a.m.
A competition organized on the site dedicated to the event, Racingforchildren.fr, allows you to win prizes, and to make a donation in favor of children with heart defects. Among the prizes: an interview with Patrick Dempsey.
