Delicious with potatoes and string beans.
Ingredients

1 onion

2 oranges

200 grams ham steak

6 potatoes

2 tablespoons liquid margarine

1 clove of garlic

1 bay leaf

400 grams string beans
Preparation
- Peel the onion and cut it small.
- Scrub 1 orange with warm water. Grate the peel of 1 half. Remove the peel and cut the orange into thin slices. Halve the orange slices. Squeeze the other orange.
- Cut the meat into cubes and sprinkle with pepper and flour.
- Heat the margarine and brown the meat in it.
- Saute the onion and squeeze the garlic clove on top.
- Add the grated orange zest, orange juice, orange slices, 50 milliliters of water, bay leaf and cloves and simmer the meat for 30 minutes.
- Peel the potatoes. Boil the potatoes in a little water for about 20 minutes.
- Clean the string beans and cut them into diamonds. Boil the string beans in a pan of water for 10 minutes.
- Add the string beans and potatoes to the meat.
