Chargers don’t follow the rules
The body also analyzed 14 chargers of electronic cigarettes. “13 were declared non-compliant, 9 of which were dangerous because of the risk of electric shock linked to an insulation fault,” explains the DGCCRF in its press release. We also learn that this organization has made “more than 1300 seizures of non-compliant and dangerous products” and “more than 56,000 withdrawals and / or recalls from the marketing”.
The DGCCRF concludes in its press release that it is “in permanent contact with professionals in the sector (manufacturers, importers, distributors, tobacconists, etc.) so that the regulations are more closely observed”. And that it will “continue its investigations aimed at controlling this sector of activity”.
Tobacco still too present in France
