Preparation
- Cook the rice. Peel and finely chop the ginger.
- Mix the minced meat with the egg, 100 g of cooked rice, half the ginger, the breadcrumbs, the chilli powder, the ground pepper and 3 tablespoons of naturally fermented soy sauce.
- Form meatballs.
- Pour a liter of water with 5 tablespoons of soy sauce in a pressure cooker and cook the meatballs for about 10 minutes.
- Peel and cut the carrots, then sauté them in a wok with hot oil.
- Mix them with the rest of the naturally fermented soy sauce and the ginger.
- Serve the meatballs with the remaining rice and carrots.
Health tips
If you want to limit your salt intake, use Kikkoman Naturally Fermented Soy Sauce with Reduced Salt in place of regular soy sauce.
