In Uncle Sam’s country, limousines are legion. There are many sedans or stretched SUVs circulating in the streets of Las Vegas or Beverly Hills. But did you know this Dodge Viper limousine that was for sale on eBay?
Officially, the Dodge Viper was only produced as a roadster called the Viper RT / 10 or as a coupe, the Viper GTS, with in both cases a cabin cut to accommodate only two passengers. There was also a single-seater tray, called the Viper Michalak ChallengeR (see in our photo gallery).

A Viper limousine for € 115,000
This exclusive limousine variant, which was offered for sale on eBay, is not from the Dodge catalog. More family-friendly, it carries up to 12 people and becomes the ideal vehicle for a noticed arrival on your wedding day with its white livery enhanced with blue bands in reference to the edition of the 25e birthday. The car dates from 1996 and has only 5,900 miles, or less than 9,500 km on the odometer..
Indeed, this “limo” as we say across the Atlantic, is a unique achievement whose body has been stretched to 7.62 meters long. As a reminder, the Viper RT / 10 which served as a base has a format of 4.46 m. The current owner, based in Las Vegas, Nevada, says the original engine, an 8-liter V10 delivering 415 hp, remained in place under the hood. It is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. No mechanical modification to the program, apart from the lengthening of course of the transmission shaft in order to reach the now distant rear axle.
Three doors only!
The driver and his passenger always have a pair of doors available, the 10 occupants of the rear “bathtub” will have to be content with a single opening on the side near the wheel. Auctioned for the tidy sum of 135,000 dollars or the equivalent of 115,000 euros, this singular Viper has not found a buyer, no internet user has bid. Its most limited use, it has served at events, in commercials and television shows, and its lack of discretion probably explains this.
