Adults who get up early in the morning would start their day badly, because they have to manage their stress as soon as they wake up.
- Stress is an adaptation phenomenon of the body that allows us to react to our environment.
- If stress sets in over time, our body becomes exhausted and various pathological consequences appear.
7:23 a.m. This would be the time when we would be most stressed. It coincides with the time of getting ready to go to work. A quarter of people admit that this is usually their fault, including waking up too late. This was revealed by a survey carried out by OnePollfor the RESCUE Remedy brand, relayed by Studyfinds. The latter was conducted with 2,000 adults. According to the results, the participants face three stressful events per day on average.
The “little details” can impact our mood
The survey reveals that fatigue (46%), an interrupted night’s sleep (36%) and a busy day at work (33%) are among the main causes of daily hassles. “Often when we think of ‘drama’ we think big, but research shows the impact small details can have on our daily mood,” said Zuzana Bustikova, spokesperson for the brand. According to the survey, 35% of volunteers believe that stressful events are part of life and 24% find it difficult to relax when faced with small daily worries. These lead people to feel frustrated (32%), anxious (23%) and tired (21%).
The three methods that are good for morale
The study indicates that the main techniques that improve mood after experiencing a little worry are going for a walk (30%), listening to music (28%) and spending time alone (26%). “More than ever, it is important to understand what our body and mind are telling us and, even if it is not always easy, it is crucial to adopt good habits such as eating well, establishing a relaxing ritual at the time of sleep and make time for self-care. Taking small steps to build our emotional resilience, even on tough days, can make a huge difference in helping us live our lives to the fullest.” said Zuzana Bustikova.
