On the occasion of September, traditionally “oral health month”, the Brosseadomicile.com website is launching a national awareness campaign aimed at encouraging them to change their toothbrush at least every three months. This campaign is titled “Don’t Forget Your Toothbrush”.
The site, which offers to “subscribe” to its toothbrush, recalls that four in ten French people do not change their toothbrush during the year.
Since 2006, Brosseadomicile.com offers Internet users to automatically renew their toothbrush, every month, every two months, or every three months. You choose your brush among many models, its frequency, and you receive your toothbrush in your mailbox, without having to think about it.
In order to strengthen its service, the site is launching the portal Nforg-pas-votre-brosse-a-dents.com. In addition to a photo contest of “crazy toothbrushes”, he offers a “reminder” to remember his next appointment with the dentist. For this, the person enters the date of his last visit and his email, and will automatically receive an email one month and then one week before the date on which he must see his dentist.
According to a TNS Worldpanel study published in 2007, and carried out among 12,000 people, the French use an average of 1.5 toothbrushes per year. However, dentists recommend changing them every three months, or using four per year.
