Initially postponed by six months, like the ecological bonus, the lowering of the triggering threshold for the conversion bonus will finally be effective on January 1, 2022. Only vehicles emitting up to 127 g / km of CO2 (instead of 132 g / km) will be eligible.
A dramatic turn for the 2022 conversion bonus. While the government had taken the decision to postpone the hardening of the ecological bonus and that of the conversion bonus to the 1er July 2022 due to the health crisis, the new premium threshold is finally brought forward to 1er January 2022. A last-minute turnaround, published in the Official Journal of December 30. It thus goes from 132 to 127 g / km of CO2 and concerns thermal vehicles and some hybrids. However, the amounts awarded do not change.
How it works ?
- € 60,000 for electric cars and plug-in hybrids emitting less than 50 g / km of CO2
- € 50,000 for other vehicles
The amount of the premium varies between 1,500 and 5,000 € depending on the criteria. To see more clearly, you will find below a table to summarize.
