You can now go through the neighborhoods at 33 km/h
Regular visitors to Circuit Zandvoort would hardly recognize their favorite piece of dune asphalt. The organization has dressed things up, set up a serious amount of stands and gave the kerbstones a lick of paint. But the organization has not only been busy on the track. In the town of Zandvoort, some things have also changed.
At least one traffic sign has been changed to a 33 sign, which is of course a nod to Max Verstappen’s start number. This way you drive at least half a meter per second faster through the neighborhood. We do not suspect that changes have been made to the law to make the signs legally valid. And before you ask, yes, we are fun at parties.
We do not know whether the new traffic signs in Zandvoort are still there. They may also have been removed after the promo video below. As soon as we have an answer to that question, we will update the article. If the signs have remained after the recordings, we think there is a good chance that they have been stolen, because that is how it goes in the Netherlands.
