What if you go on an adventure in a Fiat Uno? The Vintage Legende site offers a prepared version of the little Italian. It receives a whole panoply of accessories to perfect its look and its off-road skills. With more than 160,000 km on the odometer, it is displayed at less than 5,000 €.
In the original rally-raid genre, there is the 4L Trophy – reserved for students – and the Bab el Raid, accessible to all. Common point between these two events: only old vehicles or youngtimers are accepted at the start. The Bab el Raid is however less exclusive than the 4L Trophy since it allows access to different types of models (R5, 205, AX …) provided they are two-wheel drive. A panoply to face the dunes
The converted vehicle is a 45 ie equipped with a 1.0 petrol of 45 hp associated with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Registered in May 1994, this Uno has a total of 163,000 km. She received a whole lot of equipment to overcome the dunes of the Moroccan desert. The range includes: engine / gearbox protection plates, a 4-point roll bar, 4 long-range yellow headlights, 13 ” steel rims with specific hubcaps and a large-diameter free exhaust. The interior, entirely stripped down, receives a sports steering wheel and … petal seats from Renault! The seats are certainly more comfortable than the original ones. A fire extinguisher, ear muffs and a storage net complete the set.
Less than 5,000 € as is
This Fiat Uno, whose body shows some scars, benefits from a funny decoration with stickers of completely fictitious partners: Malbarré, Martina, Hell, Pillory, Agir… The interior has not been forgotten with a pavilion entirely covered with cards from the UNO game, a “poké-ball” gearshift knob and door trims with quirky slogans like “Rolling in Uno prolongs celibacy”. You will understand, the former owners did not take themselves seriously.
