Ingredients
- 460 g flour
- 5 g of dehydrated baker’s yeast
- 250 ml of lukewarm water
- 4 tbsp. to s. olive oil
- 1 C. to c. salt
- 1 C. to c. turmeric
- 1 C. to s. thyme
Preperation
- Dissolve the dehydrated baker’s yeast in lukewarm water, and leave to stand for about 10 minutes.
- Add the olive oil and, while mixing, the flour, salt, turmeric and thyme until an elastic dough is obtained.
- Leave to rise for 1 hour in a bowl covered with a tea towel in a warm place.
- Preheat the oven th. 1 or 2 (30-40 ° C). Roll out with a rolling pin into a rectangle 5 mm thick.
- Fold in 3 lengthwise and then in 3 again crosswise to form a cube.
- Flatten the dough again with a rolling pin into a rectangle 2 cm thick and cut it into 6 equal parts.
- Form a ball with each part by gently stretching the edges towards the inside of the ball (like turning a sock).
- Place your breads on a floured baking sheet and bake for the second rising (count 1 hour).
- Take out the breads and preheat the oven. 8-9 (250 ° C), cooking grid in the middle of the oven and pan in the lowest position.
- When it is time to bake, lower the thermostat to 6-7 (200 ° C), put the plate on the grid and pour half a glass of hot water on the frying pan. Immediately close the oven door.
