An absolute boss turns out not only to follow Elon Musk’s private jet, but also that of Bezos, Gates and dozens of other stars. How does he do that?

Always wondered where billionaires like Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates go with their private jet? The 19-year-old whiz kid Jack Sweeney managed to make world news with exactly that service. By means of self-written bots, he invariably follows all the proverbial steps that the private jets of the stars make. Now it turns out that the teenager is not alone behind Elon Musk sat on.

Sweeney received a $5,000 offer from Elon Musk to stop tracking his private jet. His counter-offer was $50,000 and that clearly left him wanting more. The teen lays opposite The Guardian states that he is setting up a website to help his bots monitor. It is not yet clear how exactly this will work.

It turns out that the young superfan already managed to follow a lot of private jets of stars with a bot. All those accounts, for example @GatesJets and @CelebJets, automatically post landing times of the relevant aircraft.

Danger to the stars?

On the one hand it is of course great to see how a young boy manages this. Fans will also love to know where their favorite celebrity has flown to.

But according to Elon Musk, following his private jet is extremely dangerous. He wrote in a DM to Sweeney: “Can you delete this account? It’s a security risk. I don’t want to be shot at by a madman.”

There is also something in that; such people simply attract absolute maniacs. If stalkers (like Tim Cook’s) knew where their victim is at any given moment, then that would surely go wrong.
