Since 2010, the Générations futures association has collected hundreds of testimonies from victims (residents or professionals). pesticides. On the basis of these testimonies, the association has drawn up an interactive map which allows you to discover at a glance the regions most affected by this environmental scourge.
This card aims “to make visible these various victims and these cases, but also to advance the legislation. It is not yet strong enough on the subject”, explains Nadine Lauverjat, coordinator of Future Generations.
The association hopes that this work of collecting testimonies will lead to certain concrete measures, such as the establishment of a “buffer zone” of 100 m between the areas where pesticides are sprayed and homes. Or like the recognition of occupational diseases linked to the use of pesticides.
