Samsung Galaxy S22 gets a much smaller battery

The new Samsung Galaxy S22 goes smaller, at least in terms of battery. The battery capacity is considerably less compared to the Galaxy S21.

It will take a while before the Samsung Galaxy S22 appears on the scene. This is probably in the beginning of 2022. But there is already news to report about Samsung’s new flagship. According to galaxy club the device sacrifices battery capacity.

Does the Galaxy S21 still have a battery with a capacity of 3880mAh, the S22 has to make do with 3590mAh. That’s a big reduction. A smaller battery does not automatically mean a shorter battery life. It is of course bad advertising for yourself as a telephone manufacturer to bring that news out. Therefore, Samsung will do everything in its power to optimize the smaller battery. This is largely due to the software and the processor.

The advantage of a smaller battery is that there is more room in the housing for other hardware. The smartphone can also be less heavy of words. Because nobody makes you happy with a beast of a device.

Years ago, Samsung was still bad in the news because of battery problems. The battery of the Galaxy Note 7 could catch fire, that issue has haunted Samsung for a long time.
