Renault is revising the prices of its range upwards at the beginning of October, in particular for the Captur which suffers from an inflation of 500 to 750 € depending on the engine. The Losange SUV starts at € 22,450 now, and climbs up to € 39,050 in its plug-in hybrid version associated with the Initiale Paris finish.
On October 5, 2021, Renault again increases its prices. This strategy of leveling up of prices has been led by Luca de Meo since his arrival at the head of the company in 2020. The whole range is concerned, from Twizy (+ € 200) to Traffic (+ € 750) via Arkana and Mégane (+ 400 €). For the Captur urban SUV, the increase is between € 500 and € 750 depending on the engine.

Up to € 750 increase
Thus, the Captur sees its prices rise by 500 € for the TCe 90 ch and TCe 100 ch engines (running on LPG) in Zen finish, and by 750 € for the same engines in Intens finish. The SUV therefore sees its entry level go from € 21,950 to € 22,450. The E-Tech plug-in version, with its 160 hp plug-in hybrid engine, increases by € 500 for each finish, now starting at € 35,350 for the Intens finish.

As for the other engines, the TCe 140 hp (BVM or EDC), TCe 160 and E-Tech hybrid 145 hp, they each undergo an increase of € 600. This increases the TCe 140 to at least € 24,400, while the TCe 160, necessarily associated with an EDC automatic transmission, is close to € 30,000. The 145 hp single hybrid, shared with the Clio and the Arkana, is for its part displayed at € 28,100 in Zen finish.
