Real princes have an opinion too. And this prince says Bitcoin is a form of freedom.
Prince Philip of Serbia and Yugoslavia says Bitcoin is freedom. Noting that “we have to take the money from the state”. The prince continued: “We need hard money again. We need good quality money that is not subject to inflation.”
Prince Philip of Serbia fan of Bitcoin
Prince Philip recently spoke about Bitcoin on a Serbian TV show hosted by Ivan Ivanović. The prince, a member of the House of Karađorđević, is the second son of the last crown prince of the former Kingdom of Yugoslavia. He is the fraternal twin of Prince Alexander and second in line to the throne after Prince Peter.
This Prince actually works, believe it or not. He is currently working with a global asset manager based in London, according to the website of the Royal Family of Serbia. Perhaps that is where the interest in cryptos comes from. “I work in the financial world,” he confirmed in the TV program. “I work in asset management at an international finance company. The head office is in New York, but has a large office in London. I am an analyst. I like to analyze the world.”
Bitcoin, not crypto
Then he was asked about crypto. Emphasizing that his advice is “certainly free”, he started with “crypto”, but quickly corrected himself to say “Bitcoin”. Prince Philip said: “Not crypto but Bitcoin. It’s all about Bitcoin.” He continued: Bitcoin is freedom, and this is something I want for everyone. He described: “This is something everyone should learn. They will learn slowly. Some people will not want to learn it because they are not used to it. They want to protect the system they do well in.”
