The Brazilian manufacturer informed the Sanitary Agency that the lenses in question were not reserved for the European market. This means that they do not have the “CE” mark, attesting that the medical devices have been subjected to an evaluation.
People who have purchased the lenses concerned are advised not to use them. The Afssaps also recalls that health products available on the Internet are not always checked by the manufacturer or the “regulatory responsible for marketing”.
