A new Nord smartphone from OnePlus in the form of the N20 5G. Officially announced today.
Apple has the iPhone SE. At OnePlus they have the Nord N series. It started with the N10 introduced in 2020 and the N20 has now been announced there. For now for the US market. At the time of writing, it is not yet known whether this phone will also come to Europe. That was the case with the N10.
The OnePlus Nord N20 is a typical budget smartphone, but with the brand values of the Chinese tech company. That usually means a lot for little. This smartphone has also been placed sharply in the American market. Cheaper than an iPhone SE and also an interesting competitor on the cheap Samsung smart phones.
The new OnePlus Nord N20 5G is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600. The device has 128 GB storage and 6 GB RAM memory. A nice upgrade compared to the N10 is that the N20 is equipped with a 6.4-inch 1080p OLED screen. The N10 still had to make do with an LCD screen.
On the back is a camera island, including a 64 megapixel main camera. The battery has a capacity of 4,500mAh. You can quickly charge this battery 33W via a cable. OnePlus supplies the device with Android 11.
The launch in America is accompanied by a competitive price tag of $282. As mentioned, it is still unclear whether the OnePlus Nord N20 will come to Europe.
