The arrival of the first smartphone from the Nothing brand has been announced, the phone (1). What can we expect?
OnePlus blossomed as the brand for Android enthusiasts who do not like fuss in combination with a competitive price. The brand now resembles many other Android manufacturers. There are a lot of devices to choose from and thanks to the collaboration with google it is no longer as ‘bare’ as before. Nothing sees that and may well be the new OnePlus with the phone (1).
Nothing was founded by the co-founder of OnePlus, namely Carl Pei. His philosophy at OnePlus is now gaining a foothold at Nothing. The smartphone should be launched this summer. The first details have already been announced. For example, the Nothing phone (1) gets a Snapdragon processor from Qualcomm. In addition, the device runs on Nothing OS, a derivative of Android.
It is Nothing’s second product. The brand launched its own set of Bluetooth earplugs last year. The Nothing phone (1) is of course the new star of the show. All eyes are on the London tech company. Is this really going to be the new OnePlus? We will see. More details about the smartphone will probably be announced in the run-up to the unveiling.
