A classic mussel pan is delicious, but these mussel packages from the barbecue might be even better. Deliciously healthy and enjoy the summer.
Ingredients

2 kg mussels

500 g vegetables (onion, celeriac, kohlrabi, leek)

100 ml white wine

75 g butter
-
1 bunch of celery leaves

salt pepper
-
1 ciabatta
-
aluminium foil
Preparation
- Light the BBQ. Check the mussels. Place a large (old) frying pan on the barbecue or form a bottom with a raised edge (package) from a double-folded sheet of aluminum foil.
- Pour 2 tbsp olive oil into the pan and heat. Fry half of the onion and celery for 2 minutes. Add the rest of the vegetables. Pour half the wine into the pan and place the mussels on top of the vegetables.
- Season generously with pepper and cook the mussels for 6-8 minutes or until all the shells are open. Turn every now and then. Place the mussels with the vegetables and mussel juice in a large bowl. Sprinkle with green herbs. Wipe the pan clean with kitchen paper (or make a new package) and prepare another portion of mussels in the same way. Place the bowl of mussels on the table.
- Serve the bread with (herb) butter
