It was taken off the market, but it continues to plague dozens of families. This is the Meningitec vaccine, used to protect against meningitis C. 32 families are suing the pharmaceutical laboratory CSP for having left defective batches of the vaccine loaded with heavy metals on the market. The complainants accuse the laboratory of having delayed before withdrawing the vaccine from sale in pharmacies despite the alert from the health authorities. More specifically, 21 batches of the vaccine should have been withdrawn from the market from September 25, 2014, in accordance with the request of the National Agency for Medicines and Health Products (ANSM). But the investigation revealed that some lots remained available, contaminating several children.
In the list of metals found in the analyzes of the hair of these children, we note lead, aluminum, tin, silver or even silicon.
The complaints therefore come from families who had their children vaccinated with these incriminated batches. Since the injection of the product, some have developed serious symptoms and side effects. Fever, irritability, daily abdominal pain, eating disorders and sleeping problems are the daily lot of many vaccinated children. Worse, analyzes of the hair on contaminated children have shown the worrying presence of metals such as aluminum, tin, lead, chromium, or even silver and silicon.
A hearing in September
Parents’ incomprehension is mixed with the fear of not knowing the evolution of the state of health of their children. Families are eagerly awaiting the month of September to request explanations and answers from the pharmaceutical company when the first hearing opens.
