In the new Bond film, No Time to Die
(advertising)
Running from today No Time to Die in the cinemas. In addition to seeing Daniel Craig take on the role of James Bond for the last time, we also have the necessary car action scenes. We love. A special mention goes to the new Land Rover Defender, which was only a prototype at the time of filming – and performs particularly memorable antics. As the brand itself says: he does his own stunts.
We’ll leave the exact facts up for now, but let’s say that Bond will at some point have to deal with a veritable army of Land Rovers. You could already get a glimpse of what the Defender is capable of in the trailer (and in the backstory in our magazine). For example, the race-off-roader chases at speed through the roughest terrain and even makes a jump of 30 meters – don’t try that at home.
Dark Apparition
The Land Rover Defenders in No Time to Die are executed in black on black with even more black. They look so sinister that they are just short of chasing us in our sleep. Incidentally, for the occasion, Land Rover is launching a special, limited-edition Defender V8 Bond Edition in the same color scheme, complete with unique 007 features. But do you prefer a silver-colored six-cylinder with peanut butter brown leather: sure, you have our blessing.
Land Rover is well represented in No Time to Die, because the mighty Range Rover Sport SVR also makes a spectacular appearance in the film. You even seem to be able to spot a Range Rover Classic and a Land Rover Series III.
We think we’ve waited long enough for the 25th Bond film, so we’re going to the cinema right now. To take a detailed look at Land Rover’s online configurator when you return… Find out more about the Land Rover Defender (and other models of the brand) from No Time to Die? That’s possible here.
