Singer Kate Perry and her actor husband Orlando Bloom are selling their Beverly Hills mansion for $18 million.
The love nest of the two was for sale for 19.5 million dollars, but with a proceeds of 18 million they are not necessarily doing very badly. No profit, because in 2017 it was also purchased for 18 million. We take a look behind the front door to see what you get for those pennies.
The modest abode is located in a guarded enclave where you live safely among the celebrities. The house has a large driveway and is tucked away in a wooded area. Construction started in 1959 and has five bedrooms.
Villa Kate Perry
The living room has a fireplace and a huge sofa in lavender color. Patio doors lead to the patio and lawn. The spacious dining room has a marble table with purple chairs and French doors to the outside.
The master bedroom also features a fireplace, double closets, a marble bath and a private garden terrace. In the back of the photo we also see a guitar from Kate. It is not stated whether it is included in the price.
There is no shortage of storage space in the enormous kitchen. Everything crisp white and a huge kitchen island. No idea if Orlando and Kate like to cook for themselves, but there is also a butler’s pantry. Everything has been thought of.
Orlando also has to think about his muscles. He must of course be fit for all film roles and Kate must stay in shape for her performances. A good-sized fitness room is provided including sauna and shower.
After your workout, you can dive into the infinity pool and enjoy the sun and the view on the sunbeds while you dry up. The site is large enough to park dozens of cars, so you can visit a lot.
Guest house
With the sale of the villa the two leave all the way from Bevery Hills. The couple also owned a property just down the road, which was purchased in 2018 for $7.5 million as a guest house. They sold it last year for the same amount.
Estate in Montecito
We don’t have to worry about the two. They don’t become homeless. In 2020 they bought an estate in Montecito for 14.2 million, where it is apparently so good to stay that they can easily miss the houses in Beverly Hills.
The estate in Montecito dates from 1928 and has a guest house on the estate, much easier of course. Also here a swimming pool and even a tennis court.
