The ‘mining’ of Bitcoin costs a lot of power and is therefore not sustainable, it is possible that Tesla will come up with the solution for this.
Recently, there has been a lot of discussion about mining Bitcoin. This requires a lot of power and therefore it is not sustainable. Elon Musk even banned Bitcoin once because it wasn’t green enough.
Tesla and Bitcoin
Musk’s greatest wish was that Bitcoin mining would become much greener. And let the best man have a company that has some experience with electrical products. Tesla of course and the car manufacturer could just play a major role in this. The company has partnered with Block and Blockstream to realize a solar-powered Bitcoin mine. The companies’ project uses batteries from Tesla†
Both companies are investing $6 million to build a Tesla-powered mine in sunny Texas. Always handy if you need a lot of sun. Blockstream CEO Adam Back made this public during the Bitcoin 2022 conference.
Green solution
Bitcoin could be given a greener name as a result. That is good for the image, but also for the environment. Musk has pointed this out several times.
“Building things is a better solution than a continuous battle with words.” Said Adam Back about the plan. And let’s face it, it’s a brilliant move by Musk. Provide comments and then come up with a solution and undoubtedly earn a lot of money from it.
