Take-Two Interactive, the publisher of GTA, is legally working hard to tackle modders of the games, including a GTA Mod.
Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive have not been rosy to say the least in recent years. They are milking GTA 5 and Online into eternity and besides that there is a war between them and modders of the games. Whether you’re talking about GTA San Andreas, GTA 4 or GTA 5. All games have been improved or expanded on the computer through modifications. They were created by avid fans of the franchise. Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive never had that much of a problem with that publicly, until recently.
More and more you hear that makers of a GTA mod are told that they have to stop working and take the mod offline. This time it’s that time again. GTA Underground developer dkluin has said on GTAForums that it has had to stop development of GTA: Underground. A YouTube video has also been made. All pre-existing mods from this project will be taken offline. Reason is Take-Two Interactive’s hot breath.
GTA: Underground was a massive mod based on GTA San Andreas. The aim of the project was to bring all the cities from the world of GTA together in one huge map. Unfortunately this was to no avail.
