The skin’s natural repair process healing depends on many factors: area and nature of the wound, quality of the skin, treatment medications, smokingexposure to the sun… Some essential oils have an interesting healing action to support this cell regeneration phenomenon, while others, exfoliating, will help improve the appearance of ugly scars.
A healing accelerator
Mix in a 15 ml bottle: 1 ml of HE of rose geranium1 ml of yarrow HE, 1 ml of cistus ladaniferous HE, 1 ml ofhelichrysum Italian, 1 ml of HE of lavender fine. Complete withvegetable oil of rosehip from Chile. Apply to the scar twice a day, until it disappears.
Express Solution
On a recent wound, apply 1 drop of EO of rose geranium, cistus ladanifera, Italian helichrysum or officinal lavender. These essential oils will be even more effective combined with the macerate of St. John’s wort, to be applied in the evening only because it is photosensitizing. On a closed scar, apply 1 teaspoon of Chilean rosehip oil with 3 drops of true lavender essential oil.

For good healing, care must be taken to effectively protect the scar from the sun, even in winter, for a good year. Damaged skin exposed to UV in fact presents a high risk of post-scarring hyperpigmentation. The good gesture: have a small total screen stick in your bag.
