It’s been over 10 years since we covered Simon Tatham’s Portable Puzzle Collection (PPC) in this column. Since that time, Simon has again added the necessary beautiful things to his collection, so that PPC now consists of no fewer than 40 entertaining brain teasers. Each puzzle offers many levels and usually also different levels of difficulty and multiple variants. Color a cube by rolling it over a surface of paint, turn lights on and off, color maps with four colors, place towers of different heights on a playing field, build a railway and much more.
