If you look at lists of freeware, you will find a relatively large number of names that start with the letters ‘ya’. At a certain point there were so many programs of a certain kind that creators no longer knew what to call them, so they chose Yet Another… (another one…). A German programmer took over that trick with Noch ein MP3 Player, Nemp for short. As uninspired as the name, so extensive is the program itself. Nemp started out as a music management program, but now it can even serve as a remote player thanks to its built-in server that can be accessed via a web browser.
