The canteen is closed until Thursday
For their part, healthy schoolchildren attack the school because they believe that the canteen, water dispensers or tap water may have been contaminated by bacteria.
Although the canteen was closed as a precaution, the origin of the contamination is still unknown. The Hauts-de-France Regional Health Agency and the Valenciennes Sub-prefecture have been notified of these hospitalizations by the college as well as the hospitals. Investigations were immediately launched and a national education doctor was sent to the site, the Marie Curie college said on its website. The investigation is expected to last until Thursday, April 27.
