Dragon Ball Z was super popular and now a new movie is coming. We have the latest images.
Entire tribes were glued to the TV to watch Dragon Ball Z. However, that’s been a while back. For 90s kids, Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball was one of our first steps into anime and manga. It was Dragon Ball Z that set the tone, and the franchise has since gone on to produce numerous games, spin-off anime, and movies. Now that the upcoming Super Hero movie is its first movie in four years, Toei Animation is doing everything it can to make sure this movie is a huge success.
Dragon Ball Super: Super Heroes
This one new film follows Piccolo and Gohan as they save the world from a new version of the Red Ribbon Army. This is a criminal organization that first emerged when Gohan’s father, Goku, was a child. This was in the original Dragon Ball and later returned in DBZ during the ‘Androids Saga’.
The film was released in Japan earlier this month. The rest of the world is expected to follow in the coming months. Now Toei has released a video of the film’s opening. This one gives a condensed version of the Ribbon story that has gone through the franchise over the years. But instead of simply presenting that footage as it was originally, Toei remade it to fit the style of the film’s 3D animation.
Summary
So see it as a kind of summary. By the way, it looks great. This makes it clear what anime future Dragon Ball holds, and we hope the next series, when it comes out, will have equally beautiful animations.
