A French doctor exiled in Switzerland proposes to “cure” homosexuality, nymphomania, exhibitionism or even masturbation with homeopathy.
A general practitioner, homeopath and French acupuncturist exiled in Switzerland, offers homeopathic treatments of a somewhat particular kind: not only to treat dental flare or insect bites… but also to “treat” homosexuality. This discriminating practice, which assimilates homosexuality to an “evil” that must be treated, was spotted by the site FranceInfo. On its website Integrated Medicine, portal for alternative medicine where he offers distance and telemedicine courses, the doctor provides advice and recommendations in homeopathy for almost all pathologies and everything he therefore considers to be disorders.
Among them, therefore, homosexuality, which he describes thus: “Homosexuality is not a pathology, but a particular symptom (choice of life) of ‘border-line’ patients (interesting personalities elsewhere). remedies acting on the exacerbation of these symptoms “. This is not the only “problem” that the homeopathic doctor intends to treat. While walking on its site, one discovers homeopathic treatments against hysteria, nymphomania, exhibitionism or masturbation, as well as recommendations of granules to fight against the “gift juanism”, the “problems of domination and seduction “or even intended for” domineering and jealous “girls.
“To deny your sexual identity is to deny who you are”
For Joël Deumier, president of the SOS Homophobie association, the comments made on this doctor’s site perpetuate stereotypes around homosexuality because they feed the idea that it is a disease that can be to tend to.
According to Joël Deumier, these are dangerous words, which it is necessary to fight to put an end to homophobia, but also to protect the most vulnerable people. “If a young person thinks that his homosexuality is pathology, he risks isolating himself. Denying his sexual identity is to deny who we are. This can lead to school failure, for example, or worse, to suicide. Remember that the suicide rate among young LGBT people is three to seven times higher than in the rest of the population, “says the president of SOS Homophobia.
On the Internet, the link made between homosexuality and pathology has not failed to scandalize Internet users.

The question of ethics
The Integrated Medicine site is also far from being the only one to make this dubious connection. On Twitter, some have thus challenged the National Union of French Homeopaths to inform them of the ethical questions that this kind of “remedy” raised.
Hello @medecins_homeo,
I don’t quite understand the treatment. Your French colleague, homeopath and acupuncturist, living in Switzerland does not specify the homeopathic strain to use. Can you enlighten us? Studies available?https://t.co/BUsZWcfF4X– I Am Big Pharma (@JeSuisBigPharma) Aug 1, 2018
Always me @medecins_homeo. Unfortunately, I was not at this colleague’s conference (a member of your union maybe?). Could you explain to me the relationship between the Indium metallicum strain and homosexuality? I would like to learnhttps://t.co/O1ZpTmfFv7

Contacted by Allodocteurs, Dr Charles Bentz, president of the national union of homeopathic doctors, strongly condemned this rhetoric. “It is not because one is a doctor, that one does not tell nonsense. It is completely delusional, homosexuality has never been a disease!”, He declared.
