Playing Master Chief in real life
Only one more month and then a new one will finally come Halogame out for Xbox and PC. The fact that Chevrolet’s latest project resembles the Warthog from the game series does not sound like a coincidence to us. They call it the Chevy Beast and it’s a one-off project to celebrate their LT4 engine and performance parts. By the way, Chevrolet itself does not explain a link with the well-known vehicle Halo. The Hoonigan guys did that before, by the way.
For the Beast, Chevrolet took the chassis of a Silverado. The frame was shortened and the pickup body disappeared completely for a rougher buggy body. The suspension has been completely revised for more width and height. From the warehouse, the mechanics took an LT4 engine, a 6.2-liter V8 with 650 hp. A ten-speed automatic transmission sends power to all wheels with 37-inch tires.
In the back of the Chevy Beast are two spare wheels. The doors don’t like much of the outdoors and two large lenses replace the windshield. According to Chevrolet, the Beast is designed to “dominate the desert” with performance parts available to everyone, mounted on a production car base.
